What started out as a fruitless search for unique and affordable nursery bedding and room accessories for my first baby turned into a 10-year quest to find home décor and accessories suited for my growing daughters. To fill the gap through the years, I often dusted off the sewing machine my mother gave me as a teenager, or pulled out my trusted glue and staple guns, or even opened up a can of paint, and designed bedding, accessories and décor for my kids that reflected my own style and affection for vintage finds, while still making my children feel like they have the most special bedrooms in town.
The Sweet Nest Story
Somehow over the years, my fruitless search turned into a passion for wanting to help other parents and grandparents who, like me, want unique and affordable children’s home decor that creates a fun and relaxing environment for their precious offspring.
From there Sweet Nest was born!
